Quantum Time takes place in two different time periods. 2028-2029 and 2050. I’ve created a timeline to help illustrate where The Quantum Contingent and Quantum Time fit, and how they interact.

The timeline highlights the key year of 2008, when the words MARRY MARTIN appeared in Cassie’s quantum time experiment. Her action here, created the new Prime Timeline. Chapter 57, Scene 2 is where the book Quantum Time shifts from the original timeline to the Prime Timeline. The original timeline is where the scenes from 2050 occur in the book, and you can see on the timeline where the messages to Stop Jewel and Marry Martin were sent back to earlier in original timeline. Time travel, even if it’s just a message, causes paradoxes. Feel free to leave comments or questions below and I’d be happy to give you my perspective on this more sci-fi aspect of the book.
